Almaz-Antey to supply Russia-made shelf gas equipment in 2023

MOSCOW, Jul 31 (PRIME) -- Almaz-Antey will start tests and supplies of the first gas production equipment replacing imports for the continental shelf in 2023, Artyom Shatrakov, head of the civil products development department, told PRIME on Monday.

"The customer and us have defined the technical requirements for the products, prepared our own capacities for production of this equipment,” he said.

“And this year we are going to test this equipment and mass delivery of the first sets. Considering that this equipment has never been produced in Russia, this is a fairly powerful technological breakthrough."

The representative said that, for instance, Almaz-Antey made equipment under a contract with Gazprom. The efforts started several years ago and would continue, he added.
